Signing in

Email links and GitHub or Google. There is no password to forget.

DevLearn has no passwords. You sign in one of two ways:

  • A link to your email. Type your address, we send you a one-time link, opening it signs you in.
  • GitHub or Google. One tap, and they tell us your email address and name.

Why no password

A password is one more thing to reuse, leak or forget. Removing it removes the most common way accounts are stolen. Your email account is the key, so protect it: turn on two-factor authentication there.

If the link does not arrive

  • Check spam, and wait a minute. Mail is rarely instant.
  • You can request at most 4 emails a day, so requesting link after link stops working. Wait rather than retrying.
  • Still nothing? Tell us from another device you are signed in on, or write to the support address on the privacy page.
