What we collect

  • Account: your email and, if you sign in with GitHub or Google, your name and profile picture from that account.
  • Profile: what you choose to add, username, headline, bio, skills, location, links, coding handles.
  • Activity: posts, requests, offers, comments, reviews, resources, events, RSVPs, practice progress, likes and reports.
  • Verification: if you verify a college or work email, we store that address privately and show only its domain.
  • Technical: IP address for rate limiting and abuse prevention, and cookies needed to keep you signed in.

How we use it

  • To run the platform: your profile, feed, requests, reviews, notifications and leaderboards.
  • To keep it safe: rate limits, reports, blocks and moderation.
  • To show public coding stats you link (LeetCode, Codeforces, GitHub), fetched from those sites' public data.

We don't sell your data and we don't show third-party ads.

What's public

Your profile page (withdevlearn.com/username), including your ratings, is visible to anyone with the link. Your email is never shown. Posts, requests, resources and events are visible to signed-in members.

Services we use

  • Supabase (database and sign-in), Upstash (rate limiting and caching), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting).
  • GitHub and Google, only if you choose to sign in with them.

Identity documents

We never collect or store Aadhaar numbers or ID images. If we add government ID verification, it will go through a licensed provider, and we'll store only whether you were verified.

Your rights

You can edit your profile anytime, and you can ask us to export or delete your data by emailing us. We act on requests within 30 days, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
