From your own profile, the document icon on the cover builds a resume from what you have already written. Your browser's Save as PDF makes the file, so the text stays real text, which is what an applicant tracking system reads.
What it includes
About, Projects, Experience, Education, Skills and Achievements, in that order, with your name and contact details at the top. Nothing from the platform is added: no headline, no “open to work”, no badges, no XP. Those matter here and mean nothing to a hiring system.
Making it read well
- Write descriptions as short lines. Each line becomes a bullet.
- Lead with what you did and what happened as a result.
- Keep it to one page where you can. It is fitted automatically, but only so far.
In the print window, turn Headers and footers off, or the file carries the date and the page URL.
