Your profile

What is public, what is private, and how to see it as a stranger does.

Your profile is the case you make for yourself. Everything on it is public except the parts listed below, because it is meant to be sent to people who are not members: a recruiter, a club, a professor.

Private, even on your own profile

  • Your sign-in email address.
  • The address you verified a campus with. Only its domain is shown.
  • Your settings, your saved items and your messages.

Editing

Open your own profile and click the pencil on any section. To see it the way everyone else does, use the eye icon on your cover, which is a preview, not a setting: it changes nothing.
