Levels come from total XP. You are never demoted by losing XP: once you reach a level it is yours.
After L4 there is no level left to earn, so your progress bar keeps going to milestones instead, each double the last: 1,500, 3,000, 6,000 XP and on.
L5 Legend is recognition for people who shaped the community, given by the team. It is not a staff role and grants no extra powers: it does everything an L4 can, and nothing more. It is also not the same as a Campus Ambassador, which is a separate role on a single campus.

- L2 Contributor: 200 XP
- L3 Builder: 600 XP
- L4 Mentor: 1500 XP
- L5 Legend: given by admins, not earned by points
Levels unlock things you can do, such as publishing an agent to the marketplace at L3. Invites are not one of them: every member gets 5 every 10 days from their first day. The fastest honest route up is helping: one completed request is worth 50 XP, ten posts are worth 50.
